Koh Samui, Thailand weekly weather update; 22nd – 28th May, 2017

It Sunday and time to look at the Koh Samui, Thailand weekly weather update; 22nd – 28th May, 2017.
It's been a fairly good week, with only two days of rain, Thursday and Friday and not to forget this Sunday morning!
It's been dry ever after with even the sun peaking out again during the afternoon and a max temp of 32C

Koh Samui, Thailand weekly weather update; 22nd – 28th May, 2017; A beautiful picture of a Buddha statue at Wat Chaweng, also known as Wat Sawang Arom, inside the Bot. The Bot is the temple's most important building and this particular building is completely painted white, which looks kind of spectacular and impressive.

Monday and Tuesday I was diving from Phuket, to finish off PADI Specialty Instructor training with Glenn, one of my recent PADI IDC candidates on the May Phuket IDC who was also successful during the recent May PADI IE on Phuket.
A picture of our dives can be seen below.

Koh Samui, Thailand weekly weather update; 22nd – 28th May, 2017; A single barracuda patrolling the wreck we dived early this week at Raya Noi's Bai 1, near Phuket.

The forecast for next week is looking good. May will soon come to an end, only two more days to go. Most days of next week it will be partially cloudy with an occasional tropical shower and possibly some stronger wind come next weekend.

Please do 'like' my Koh Samui blog Facebook page and enjoy the beaches around the island or in front of your hotel or resort and get some well deserved rest and a break. If you're done resting or need something else to do, there's plenty of things on offer on and around Koh Samui, you can go snorkeling or diving or take a dive course. You can also enjoy some of the trips I recommend, like a half day gourmet lunch and snorkeling trip at the Southern part of Koh Samui or a photography trip where you get to see the most photo genetic spots on the island or go for a drinks tasting tour if you like a tipple or two.
