Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 18th June, 2016

Today's weather;

It's cloudy again this morning over Koh Samui and we already had a little bit of drizzle with a fair amount of wind coming in. Most of the day I expect it to remain cloudy, although the sun is trying hard to break through, but it seems the cloud layers are too thick. Although rain is in the air, it should remain dry according to the predictions for today. Current temp at 7am is a cool 26C

Yesterday saw a cloudy day, although the sun broke trhough for a short while just after midday. Around 3.30pm we had a bit of a drizzle and around 6pm it started to rain hard and it kept raining for a while. It must have caused some flash flooding, but within an hour or so after the rain had finsihed, the flash floods had mostly gone. Max temp reached 32C

The forecast predicts the could cover to remain here until Tuesday with an occasional shower and from Wednesday onward the sun should break through again and we should have nice, warm and sunny weather once more without rain.

Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 17th June, 2016

Today's weather;

It's cloudy and grey this monring over Koh Samui but it's still dry, for the time being. Later this morning and during the afternoon I do expect some rain. Current temp at 7am is 27C

Yesterday didn't see a lot of sun during the morning and around 3.30pm some drizzle started, turning into a full on strong downpour by 5pm. Most of the evening it remained wet. Max temp still reached 33C

The forecast predicts hard rain tonight and tomorrow morning but come Tuesday the sun should be back and the rain should have mostly gone. In the meantime enjoy a couple of cooler days.

Today's weather;

This morning we have a partially clouded sky with a nice breeze over Koh Samui with the sun slowly gearing up but I don't know how strong the sun will be today. It may clear up a little but during the early evening we may see some rain again. Current temp at 7am is 28C

New signs of tourist attarctions popped up around all alonmg the island, like this one for Wat Suwannaram or Wat Plai Laem

Yesterday saw a fairly cloudy start of the day but by noon the sun was out and about and it turned in to another blue sky with a very hot afternoon despite the nice breeze. However, come 8pm we had a strong shower that lasted about an hour. Max temp reached 35C

The forecast predicts fairly cloudy skies until mid next week with a nice breeze until the weekend. An occasional shower may drift along, like a typical June day on Koh Samui can be.

Today's weather;

We have a break on the recent weather this morning and it's fairly cloudy over Koh Samui with a good breeze coming inland. I do expect it to remain mostly cloudy today and it should not get as hot as the previous days. Current temp at 7am is 29C

Yesterday saw the typical sunny morning, which we are used to by now for this a-typical June weather pattern, but duirng the early afternoon heavy clouds moved in and some parts of the island had some rain or drizzle whilst other parts remained dry. Max temp reached 33C

The forecast predicts cloudier skies until the weekend with a nice breeze and after the weekend we might be able to embrace the sunny skies again.

A hazy sky with a few scattered clouds in it, is hovering above Koh Samui this morning with a nice breeze coming up. Expect another sunny and hot day today! Current temp at 7am is 28C

Yesterday saw once more a very hot day but surprisingly around 6pm clouds moved in and we had a shower and a bit of drizzle for an hour or two. Max temp reached 34C

The forecast predicts a nice breeze until the weekend with cloudy skies and an occasional shower. Keep enjopying this unusually hot and dry June weather.

Today's weather;

Another nice blue sky is shaping over Koh Samui this morning and with a very mild breeze, I expect it to become a very sunny and hot day again. Current temp at 7am is 30C

Next to the Hard Rock cafe in Chaweng is this hole in the ground under construction which is going to be a brand new Hooters off shoot

Yesterday saw once more a blue sky and a very hot day, in my opinion more hot than during the heat wave last month and in April. By 6pm though there was a very hard shower in the Chaweng area but no rain or just a light drizzle in some other parts of the island. Max temp reached 36C

The forecast predicts a fairly cloud sky to blue skies for the next ten days with possibly some heavy clouds and rain come Saturday.

Today's weather;

It's blue sky galore over Koh Samui at the moment and this Sunday morning is as glorious as can be! Be ready for a teaming hot day, it's feeling almost hotter than last month when we had a heat wave! Current temp at 8am is 31C

Yesterday saw once more a very blue ksy over most parts of the island although there were some clouds looming over the inland and more mountaineous part of the island. Max temp reached 35C

The forecast for the next ten days is most likely similar to what we have right now, blue to fairly blue skies until next weekend when we may see some more clouds. The nice and cool breeze will slowly fade out over this week. Enjoy the unusual hot and sunny June weather as long as it will last!

Today's weather;

Once more a nice blue sky reigns over Koh Samui with a light breeze and better get ready for another very warm day. Current temp at 8am is 30C

Yesterday saw another very hot day around Koh Samui, with blue skies all day long. Max temp reached a shattering 38C

The forecast still insists on predicting cloudy skies, with a breeze and occasionally a tropical shower, ho it should be in June. Daily weather situations proof a different pattern, so let's hope the daily patterns will sit this one through.

Today's weather;

Koh Samui woke up this mroning under an almost perfect clear blue sky with just a bit of haze and a few rare clouds in it. Current temp ta 7am is 28C

Yesterday saw a very blue sky all day long and it was warm, edging in on hot. Max temp reached 35C despite a nice breeze all day long.

The forecast is more of the same for the next ten days, hot and sunny days with a breeze, although cloudy skies are predicted. We'll see how this pans out. Wednesday and Thursday may see a shower.

Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 9th June, 2016

Today's weather;

It's a bit hazy again this early monring around Koh Samui but the sun is heating up and about to burn the majority of the clouds away. I expect a fairly sunny day and a nice, warm and dry to boost with a bit of a cooling down wind. Current temp at 7am is 28C

Yesterday it was partially cloudy with plenty of sunshine but also cloud cover at times. Max temp reached 33c under a dry sky.

The forecast didn't change much for the next ten days, a mixture of xloudy and partially cloudy skies which should also bring plenty of sunshine at times, with a bit of a colling wind. It should stay mostly dry except for a rather rare tropical shower.
