Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 26th December, 2014

Today's weather;

It's 10 years ago to the date when the big Boxing day Tsunami wave hit Thailand among others, where some 5.000 people perished out of the approximate 228.000 total amount of people that died that day. Later today I will write something more about the 2004 Tsunami.

Back to Koh Samui, where there's a grey sky and rain is in the air. Everything is still wet from last nights rain. Current temp at 7am is 26C

The waves in Nathon and around the island have reduced in size

Yesterday we had a dry day with even some sun and blue skies around noon around the island. After dark, around 7pm, there was a short but very hard shower in Chaweng which blacked out Big C for a few moments. During the evening and night there was more hard rain and a storm. Max temp reached 31C

The forecast predicts a wet weekend but less wind.
