Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 27th September, 2011

Today's weather;

Samui will experience some very strong wind today but most likely no rain. Current temp at 7am is 26.5C under a clouded sky.

Today is the end of Thaa Yai, celebrated in temples around the South of Thailand.

Chaweng sky yesterday around 4pm

Yesterday Samui had a lovely day, in complete contrast to what I expected, There was some threatening and dark cloud formation early in the afternoon but than it all cleared up and we had a nice sunny afternoon. Max temp reached 31.4C

    This is a great blog for anyone planning a visit to Samui. What is the weather like in October usually? Is it likely to stay around the same mix of sun and rain as now?

    October can be a mixed bag, pending on the start of the rainy season, please have a look at my archives, half way down the page on my Samui info and weather blog, left hand side, they go back a few years. Open a month that you’re interested in and check one of the of the last posts of each month, starting with ‘Goodbye to…………’ this post will tell you the weather conditions for that month.
    You can also check each individual post for that month if you wish to.
