Today's weather;

It remains warm and sunny with a nice blue sky over Samui today. Current temp at 7am is 28.6C

Yesterday was hot but saw also some overcast. No rain though!!! Max temp reached 32.2C

The aftermath of 'Black Saturday' are depressing with a minimum of 21 people dead and 858 injured. The red shirts are still occupying Bangkok's center and the finger pointing starts by both sides.

All Songkran festivities have been cancelled tomorrow in Bangkok.

    Hi, I am coming to Koh Samui in May.
    Just wanted to say i have been looking at your blog since I booked to see what the weather is doing, as you can tell I am quite excited :).

    Just wondered if you knew of any cheap hostels that have swimming pools anywhere on samui.

    Hi Robyne,

    Don't know of any hostels but mermaids in Bang Rak is fairly cheap and has two pools. It's near the airport and near big Buddha but I don't know of any hostels, let alone with a swimming pool.
