It's 4 years ago now that the Indian ocean earthquake occurred that triggered the Tsunami which hit the shores of Thailand and many other countries in the region, taking many lives.
In remembrance to all the victims and also for the survivors who had the hard task to pick up the pieces and continue live without loved ones.

I visited Khao Lak in March 2005, just 3 months after the Tsunami and people were already starting to rebuild Khao Lak, despite the wide spread devastation.

Mid January I will visit Khao Lak again, to dive the Similan islands and I will be able to report about the changes in Khao Lak since the Tsunami.
