Welcome to August
August should be one of the best months on Koh Samui, weather wise but also business wise. It's normally very full on Koh Samui due to the summer holidays in Europe. This month is also known for bringing many Italians over to Koh Samui.
If you've been following my blog recently, you must have noticed however that the weather isn't following a traditional pattern. There's more rain and overcast than in previous years in the same period. Right now, the greater Southern Asia region is having severe flood problems. Is global warning not a hype after all?
Let's not get too pessimistic however and I'm personally looking forward to this month and the sunshine and good times it normally brings.
