Big Buddha
Big Buddha Statue
Since I most likely won't have time to post tomorrow, here's a picture I made today of the Big Buddha statue at Big Buddha. Check out the lovely blue sky in the background, it shows how gorgeous the weather is right now on Samui.
Great shot, Camille. The weather is really hot here too, but it's made worse by the humidity of rainy season. According to the weather forecast, it feels like 37C here in Okinawa
I really like the Big Buddha statue at Big Buddha. Two years ago there was a 'crown' or better a 'halo' put around his head which collapsed within a few weeks due to heavy winds.
That 'crown' or 'halo' was replaced by what can be seen on this recent picture, the wheel of life and the boat.
