Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 5th October, 2011

Today's weather;

The sky over Samui is half blue and half white, which opens the perspective of more blue sky once the sun heats up. Current temp at 7am is 26C

Today the whole family will be off to Bangkok for new Dutch passports for me and the children and for me to also take up the opportunity to run the 14th Amari Watergate & BMW Thailand Charity Midnight Run in Bangkok this coming Saturday 8th October 2011. Today we'll try to get as far as possible on the road, stay somewhere overnight and tomorrow by noon I hope to be in Bangkok.

The sky over Plai Laem this morning

Yesterday saw a fairly nice day around Samui with a stronger wind than I expected. It remained more or less dry although there were some isolated drops in the morning. Max temp reached 30.5C

    My GF and I are due to come to Koh Samui next week. Just wanting to know if
    all is OK there, as we're getting reports of people being air lifted out?

    Hi Todd,

    All is good on Samui, nobody's been lifted out and it doesn't look like anybody will need to be in the near future. Not sure where you got that information from.
