Welcome to September 2011

Welcome to September 2011

September is usually a nice month with plenty of sunshine and just enough rain to make for nice day time temperatures. The last three years were just like that.

A great time to visit since you miss the August crowds but the weather is still good. Diving conditions are usually also very nice so all around, a great moment to drop by on Koh Samui! Hope to see you soon.

  2. Hi Marta,

Sometimes October is still very nice, especially the beginning of the month. It's not until later during the month and/or during November that the rainy season tends to start.

Please have a look at my archives, half way down the page on my Samui info and weather blog, left hand side, they go back a few years. Open a month that you’re interested in and check one of the of the last posts of each month, starting with ‘Goodbye to…………’ this post will tell you the weather conditions for that month.
You can also check each individual post for that month if you wish to.

    Hope this helps for now.

  4. Hi Shaun,

In general October is still very good, although there's the odd chance that the rainy season starts early!
