Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 3rd September, 2011

Today's weather;

Koh Samui and Phangan have a light cloud layer this morning but it looks like it's going to be warm today. Current temp at 7am is 26.5C

Yesterday saw a very sunny and hot day over both Samui and Phangan. Max temp reached 33.6C

    Hi,
    We are planning to go to Ko Samui from 9/11 to 20/11. Do you know if it is
    usally very rainy or just short showers one/twice a day? Or do you think we
    should go to Krabi instead.
    A quick response is appreciated

    Hi,

    November is usually during the monsoon season and it can be very wet for days on an end during that time frame. My advice is to go to the West coast or the Phuket side during November, you will have more chance of sunshine.
    Last year November was not very good on Samui

    Please have a look at my archives, half way down the page on my Samui info and weather blog, left hand side, they go back a few years. Open a month that you’re interested in and check one of the of the last posts of each month, starting with ‘Goodbye to…………’ this post will tell you the weather conditions for that month.
    You can also check each individual post for that month if you wish to.
