Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 14th January, 2011

Today's weather;

Samui is once more covered under a cloud layer. There should be sunshine later today! Current temp at 7am is a chilly 23.2C

Yesterday Samui had rain pretty much all morning and into the early afternoon, it wasn't until 4pm that the sun showed it's bleak face. Max temp reached 27.2C

Today it's a year ago that my Dad passed away. RIP!

    My wife and I will be spending a week on Samui at the end of August and I
    was wondering how the mosquitoes are this time of year? We will be staying
    around the Plai Laem area beach front. Thank you for your blog. We will be
    using it to help plan our trip.

    Hi Jim,

    Glad to see that you like my blog and you find some use for it ;-)

    The mosquitoes that time of the year should be fairly ok since it's a relatively dry time of the year. This doesn't mean that there won't be any around!
    Feel free to ask questions if needed.

    Hi Jim,

    Some of the bigger hotels have tennis courts, like the Santiburi in Maenam and there's a court in Bang Rak on the so called Ghost Road.
