Samui has some very dark clouds this morning and it's raining again. Today and tomorrow could see a lot of rain. Current temp at 7am is 25.4C. The first batch of dark clouds have already swept over and are replaced by brighter ones.
Koh Lanta is also covered under clouds but they're not as dark although I wouldn't be surprised to see some rain today. Current temp at 7am is 25.3C
Samui saw rain at various spots around the island but the Plai Laem area stayed dry, however, around 4am my family woke up from the thunder and lightning which was ferocious and lasted for about half an hour. Max temp reached 30C
Lanta was nice yesterday with some afternoon sunshine and a beautiful star ridden sky at night. max temp reached 29.7C

ReplyDeleteThanks for your message. Yes, the rain is part of the monsoon, although there’s a lot more this year than in other years, especially during the beginning of the month!
By mid December, it should be a lot better so let’s cross our fingers!
