28th July, 2010

Today's weather;

It's cloudy again on Samui but dry. Current temp at 7 am is 26C.

Yesterday was a dry day to my surprise and the last two days were actually rather nice, nothing like how they were predicted. Max temp reached 31.1C

    We are planning to go to Koh Samui for a sun & beach holiday in late
    August, heard that it's the rain season. How often & how long it normally
    rains? Should we take the risk?

    Hi Matilda,

    Don't know where you got that information but August on Koh Samui is anything but the rainy season, it's actually very nice and one of the best times to visit!

    The Andaman side, Phuket, Krabi etc they have a rainy season than, not Samui.
