16th May, 2010

Today's weather;

Overcast is the word this morning and hopefully it makes for a less hot day. Current temp at 7am is 29.2C.

Yesterday saw plenty of hot sunshine with a max temp of 32.5C.

    Hi Camille! What is with Thailand? With all these bad news about civil fight? Me and my wife have a reservation for vacation in Koh Samui from June 20th, and everybody reccomand us to not go there. What is your opinion?

    Hi,

    On Samui everything is calm and fine, absolutely no unrest at all. All unrest is happening in Bangkok and is confined to a very small area, you wouldn't notice there's something going unless you're within a block or so.

    You want to check if your travel insurance is valid but otherwise there's no reason why you shouldn't come and visit Samui.
