31st August, 2008

Today's weather;

Whilst Thailand is in turmoil, Pattaya is waking up under a fairly blue sky with some scattered clouds and a current temp at 7 am of around 25C.

Yesterday we completed our first day of diving in Pattaya, and it was a nice and warm day. Lots of sunshine out over the ocean but fairly cloudy over land. Max temp was in the lower thirties, 31.7C to be precise.

    My wife and I plan to visit for a few days and I would like to know if the rain could make the timing of this visit a poor choice

  2. Dear Wallace,

    November in general can be a wet choice regarding Koh Samui. Please have a look at my weather blog's archive for November 2007. Last year we had a very bad and wet November, however the year before that, during 2006, we hardly had any rain at all, which is very unusual.

    In general one can safely say that during November the Andaman coast, Phuket, Krabi, Kao Lak etc is a safer choice weather wise.
