3rd July, 2008

Today's weather;

It's very cloudy this morning with a current temp of 25.7C at 7 am.

Yesterday was cloudy and wet until noon, after that the weather changed, the clouds made place for some sunshine and it was a nice day after all. Max temp reached 31C.

Today I'm starting another IDC program, follow my dive blog for regular updates.

    Hey Camille,

    It's great for your daily update of Samui's weather report, just wondering how is condition of beach and sea at chaweng compare with 2 years ago, coz i heard the people coming back said the water and the sand is not as clean as y2005 when i first came to samui. waiting for your info. thanks.

    Hi,

    I live here since late 1999 and have been diving Chaweng Beach since that time as well on a very regular base and can say that I don't see a decline in cleanliness of the beach.

    In general I think that Chawegn beach can be cleaner than it is, and in my opinion the resorts should clean more than just the part in front of their property, but other than that, no changes in my humble opinion.
